What is AMBA

AMBA is a nonprofit education organization that provides education in rural and underserved communities to empower students to reach their full potential. It brings world-class learning to rural communities by providing rural schools with solar-powered Starlink internet access, smartphones, and training to access top-tier educational resources like Khan Academy and ChatGPT in the most rural areas.
Our mission is to transform lives by enabling every child to reach their full potential.

How we do it

Using solar power to power a Starlink and charge smartphones we deliver e-learning solutions in rural areas, ensuring that even the most underserved communities can access quality education.

We use Khan Academy as a key resource to actively monitor student progress to ensure engagement and growth.

Everyone loves games, so we use Chess to enhance students' critical thinking, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills. We host tournaments to engage students competitively, track and reward progress.

"The program introduced at our school has significantly transformed the learning process. Before this initiative, we faced challenges with student absenteeism. Since its implementation, absenteeism has greatly decreased. Students are more engaged, excited to explore questions, and find answers"

"This project really has been a savior for us. There have been a number of power outages and thanks to the solar we have been able to use the printer to print exams, as well as the computers for managing the finances and setting tests and exams for our students."

“I like AI because it explains everything to me. My favorite subject is civic education, and one day I want to become a nurse. AI explains things to me and also helps me in achieving my career choice in my biology studies and how to prepare for applying.”
